To create the most comprehensive record of Squire's descendants, I need your help! Batches of data from various distant cousins has already saved me countless months of research and redundant effort. What about your family?
If you or someone in your immediate family has any genealogical records that might provide aditional branches to this growing family tree, please consider contributing them to this project. To do so, just follow these three simple steps:
Step 1 - Read the Privacy Policy
The goal of any good genealogy project, including this one, is to make the data available to others by publishing a book. Please read the privacy policy to see how your data will be used.
Step 2 - Say Hello
Before sending data, please contact me, introduce yourself and let me know who you are in relation to Squire Munro (if you know). Then let me know what data you have available to contribute to the project. I will let you know what I need and make arrangements with you to send it.
To contact me, send an email. If you need to speak or mail me a physical package, I will email you additional information.
Step 3 - Sending Data
For each individual in a family branch descended from Squire Munro, I need to collect at least their full name, birth date and location, and death date and location. Additional information may be contributed including military service, education, etc.. Also, I want to collect photographs, especially of historical importance to the overall family.
Submitting Digital Data
The best method for contributing data is with a gedcom file. Most genealogy software can export data as a gedcom file which you can simply email to me. This makes it very easy for me to sort through the data and merge what I need into my own data. You can also send me files of any time.
Submitting Physical Data
If you do not have your family history data entered into computer software, you can contribute photo copies of what you have for inclusion into the project. Also, depending on your location, I can make arrangments to come to you to review your materials and copy or scan items of interest. |
